Six participants draft two teams each. Score every individual game win: Wild Card 1 point, Division Series 2, League Championship Series 3, World Series 3. Both teams earn points for their game wins, even if they lose the series. A winner with a larger original league seed earns 1 bonus point, including in the World Series. Equal seeds earn no bonus. Byes earn zero. A series loss eliminates a team; earned points remain.
The 12-team 2025 MLB field is available for replay. Results start empty; the 2026 field is not loaded.

Use the same upset-bonus rule: +1 for a seed gap of 1–8 and +2 for 9–15. Hockey uses regional seeds 1–4, so only the +1 bonus can occur. Equal seeds earn no bonus. Losing teams stop scoring; earned points stay yours.
The 2027 field has not been selected. Replay the 2026 bracket with results entered by your commissioner. The 2027 Frozen Four is April 8 & 10 in Washington, D.C.

College Baseball World Series

Draft from the full NCAA Division I men’s baseball tournament. All 64 teams have an owner. The tournament begins with regionals in May; the eight-team Men’s College World Series follows in June.
ATOWN baseball scoring uses each team’s original regional seed (1–4). An underdog win earns 1 bonus point; equal seeds earn none. The 2-point bonus for seed gaps of 9–15 cannot occur with regional seeds.
A first loss does not end your run. Regionals and the two Omaha brackets use double elimination. Super regionals and the championship are best-of-three series. Loss counts reset at each stage; eliminated teams stop scoring and keep earned points. Optional deciding games count only when played.
The 2027 field has not been selected. The 2026 field is available for replay with empty results and commissioner-entered winners.

Your guide to joining and running an ATOWN Madness draft.
- Register. Create a website account with a username, password and display name. Save your recovery code. No ChatGPT account is required.
- Create or join a room. Enter the host’s room code, open the room, then select Join this draft. Hosts choose basketball, College Football Playoff, hockey, or baseball and enter a room name; the available official field loads automatically.
- Include the play-ins. New 2026 basketball rooms include all 68 teams and the four play-in matchups automatically. Each play-in team is drafted separately. Results begin empty so your group can replay the tournament.
- Draft your teams. Basketball uses eight participants with eight picks each; football uses six participants with two picks each; hockey uses eight participants with two picks each; baseball uses eight participants with eight picks each. Once every seat is filled, the host can randomize and preview the order, then start the draft. Starting preserves the displayed randomized order. Pick in snake order, reversing direction every round. Confirmed picks are final. Set a private queue before or during the draft. If the clock expires, your next available preference is selected automatically.
- Follow the tournament. The host records completed game winners. Standings refresh automatically with round points and upset bonuses. Eliminated teams keep earned points. Baseball requires two losses within a stage; the other sports use single elimination.
Use the sample room to practice. Sample picks and results are not saved. Live rooms save picks and results automatically.

Where ATOWN Madness began.
Established in 1996 by co-founders Brad Prouhet, Greg Risling, Matt LaFollette, and Kevin Slauson.
Today, ATOWN Madness brings its tournament tradition online with an eight-participant draft, eight picks per participant, and points for wins and upsets.
